Hey I have a 94 s10 that I'm in the middle of construction on and I have done most of the notches including my bed and driveshaft tunnel but now im gettin to the firewall and Im not sure as to how I notch that out. Was wondering if anyone has some tips and what all is involved with that. its my first project truck and just want to do it right the first time.

basically drop the truck and see where it hits, mark the area, then cut it out. drop the truck and see if the tires clear if not trim some more. Once everything clears and the truck fully lays out roll some sheetmetal and make some tubs or you can buy prefabricated firewall tubs

I was talking about firewall tubs. So it's best to just place the body on and see where they hit on the firewall. Is it alot of work to do it all. And anyone have some tips for me? I have sheet metal being made for the firewall

yeah i'd do it with the body in place. i also make sure to leave enough room for the wheel to steer a little without hitting.
an important thing to remember is make sure that there is no wiring etc. behind where you're going to cut.
other then that wheel tubs are super easy to do.

metro will work but it isnt a "have to have" thing depending on the overall size of the tire, it may hit the booster but you can just move the stock booster up and over.
