hey everyone, new member here. i have a 1993 pickup, standard cab 5spd. has a static drop right now but looking to c notch it for more suspension. how do i go about raising the floor in the bed instead of chopping a hole in the middle to make room for the frame rails?

cut the entire floor out, raise it up, weld it back in and thenyou will have to make spacers to mount the bed back to the frame...
if you raise the bed floor 5" you will need 5" spacers to get the body lines to match back up
if you raise the floor up 8" you need 8" spacers and so on..

you really shouldn't need much more then a small notch to get pretty low. and if done right it can stay under the stock bed floor. unless you want to drag frame with a static drop... which would be pretty awesome lol
it's more like a pebble crawler

haha alright thanks for the input. i am looking for a decent notch for the most adjustment in ride height possible (coilovers w/ parallel 4 link) lol idk about dragging static but would be awesome to have the option.

Then I wouldnt waste time or money on a small bolt on notch since you will not need it in the future. Go ahead and get the big notch and do it right
