All tho i have not set a limit on this, most parts ive had layin around for this build so its not going to be super crazy just basic with a twist.

Started out as a 73 datsun reg cab reg bed 630 on a stock 2wd frame that was converted to SFA sometime in the 80s. Well I picked it up real cheap and the plan was it was going to sit while i worked on another project. but that didnt happen.

so with the help of a buddy i picked up some metal and got a toyota frame clip from him and away we went.

79 toyota front clip narrowed 4" pie cut uppers and plated lowers removed strut bars because the plans are to go can do arms later on and this way it rolls around. 2x3 .120 wall tubing for the frame and the rear section is a frame tank. also has toyota rear axle that needs 7" of narrowing to fit under the bed the way i want it. went with a 4 link i had layin around with a few hand made tabs along with hand made rear bag brackets. also had some air bags laying around for this one.

got it rolling for WCn with about 40 hours worth of work and still got a long ways to go. need to finish floor and get motor tranny mocked up, then pulled and paint frame. need to patch hole in roof and not sure if it will get paint or primer.. would be awesome to have this one complete for WCN 2011.

well on with the pics:

after parker i hit a wall of laziness haha.. then it cooled down, i went to cali for a week came home sick for 8 days finally got the shed cleaned out alot of stuff off the patio/work area and i have ditched the old cab

getting ready to mock motor and make the remaining crossmembers. then paint the frame prolly POR15 and once thats done ill go thru the motor and tranny paint it all nice and drop it in. then work on getting the new cab on run lines for wiring and fuel, need a fuel cell made and some day narrow rear axle to make bed fit and work on the floor but im gunna try to having it driving before i worry about that and right before its drivable ill have to swap the control arms for the can ***

this weekend were working on the kevin and lisa's toyota and next week i have an s10 coming to be to get layd out. so well see how well the weather keeps up for how much i get done..

also been thinking about paint since its all 100% in pieces i should just paint it so well see what happens
