Yup, the time has come for Round 4 of the Mini Truckin' Scale Model Build Contest. To those of you who participated in Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and the current Winner and Podium Invite-Only Rounds - thank you and great job! These contests have been a huge success and have received coverage in the magazine. This is the perfect opportunity for you to show off your creative mini truckin' skills in a way that won't leave you broke.
Thanks for your patience - we know you've been waiting and planning for Round 4. This is an open round, meaning that anyone can build! (Except for those in the Invite-only rounds; you know who you are.) We welcome brand-new builders and veteran builders alike. This is a great time to jump in if you have missed out on the previous rounds!
FOR THIS ROUND, YOU CAN BUILD WHATEVER YOU WANT - IT IS NOT RESTRICTED TO MINI TRUCKS. But remember, this IS Mini Truckin' and we are biased towards mini trucks around here. Please only focus on one model!!
Here's the deal: To sign up, you simply need to reply to this thread and let us know that you want to be included.
Sign ups (again, via replying to this thread) will be from now until the start of the contest on Monday, February 8, 2010. Once you respond to this thread, I will send you a PM (private message here on these mt web forums) with the contest rules and details. If you've participated in other rounds, then you know how it works. If not, you will find out! If you do not receive a PM, please follow up until you receive it!
You will have about 3 months for the build: February 8 – May 10, 2010. EVEN UPON RECEIVING CONFIRMATION FOR YOUR SIGN UP, DO NOT START BUILDING UNTIL FEBRUARY 8. You may, however, set up your thread beforehand.
Thanks, and good luck to all!

Found these on eBay and thought it might interest some of you:

It's an early 90's Lindberg Toyota Dually - it's the odd 1/20 scale and a little different.
Here are a few S10/S15 kits:

You guys building slammers or full models. Slammers make way more sense - sure makes laying rocker easy! Trim off the rockers and lay door!
