I have a stock 98 Ranger and I'm looking to use it as my first build. The first step i want to take is bagging it. since i am relatively new to the mini truck culture(besides going to shows and reading the mags) i haven't been able to locate a full kit for my truck. I am beginning to think i will need to get a completely different frame from my stock one in order to accomplish this step. I am open to everyone's help/suggestions with my project. as you may wonder i am schooled in body work including welding so i will be able to do a lot of custom fabricating. but first is my air ride. I look forward to the help/suggestions. and will be glad to answer any questions you may have. pretty much all i ask is help in the right direction. thanks.

well since you know how to fabricate, i say buy what you need, short of bag brackets and fabricate your own one off system. ive never welded before but when i can afford bags, im going to do it all myself and see how it comes out

You need to decide if you want a body drop , what size wheels your gunna run and decide what type of set up you want (bag over bar) or under axle

i'm pretty sure that year ranger came with the a arm suspension, instead of the i beam. if it is then you are already better off.
the ranger hasn't seen the aftermarket love like some of the other trucks, but you should be able to bag it with the frame you have now.
