i have a 97 bodydropped hardbody and a cowl hood but my air filter hits the hood i have alredy taken the top to the beather off but i dont want ghetto.... anyone have any ideas?

I had the same problem. I am starting to make a custom sheetmetal intake. I am planning on running a stock hood.

on the toyotas you usually need to make "drop" motor mounts to clear the stock hood. maybe that would help if you have the room.
