so do you just wrap the dash in fleece and use resin? or do you kittie hair i have been told so many different things... help please

i've asked the same question on a few forums, and always get the same answers that you mentioned.

but i've also been told that most "fiberglass dashes" don't have any fiberglass at all. they are just sanded and primed dashes.

I put a couple layers of chopped fiberglass mat on my dash on the top part since it is vinyl. you need to trim some of the vinyl around the edges to make sure all the other pieces will still fit once the fiberglass is on there. then sand and sand and sand and sand. make friends with somebody who has an air compressor and a DA sander lol. all the hard plastic pieces were just primered and sanded several times to get rid of the texture.
