What if you just stuck a fake Supercharger to the hood?

Loosely based on the 1981 movie (MadMax2) car engine, this was designed completely in CAD. Don't we all think of this in kindergarten or so, when we first discover how real cars compare to our HotWheels? I know, MOST folks grow up...
All parts except hardware and hoses were cut on a CNC router. Material is 6mm ABS sheet. The assembly weighs 7.5lbs, and is stuck down with 3M super-strength molding tape.
Zero changes to the stock truck, didn't even drill any holes.
I swear, I can smell a gasoline leak...

I used over 60 square inches of adhesive with a reputation for being VERY unforgiving with placement. A rough estimate of the force needed to knock it loose has the hood hardware breaking first. In other words, I would have more pressing problems if I was watching it come loose.
This was all modeled in CAD, and I knew the estimated final weight before I ever cut any material.
Made of stacked sheets of ABS and chem bonded together. It would take a saw to separate these, an 8lb splitting maul only bounces off.
Since only half shows, only half was designed/fabricated.
 It's hollow.

The Truck has its own page now! Before I put the failcharger on, the dealer would take 2-3 HOURS to get my truck back to me. With it on, 45 minutes tops. The mechs all hurry to get to see who gets to drive it. I was a Sears appliance man for five years, and I understand the dull nature of most, um, appliances.
