I have a 97 chevy s-10 with a 4.3 and a engine driven compressor. lately, the compressor isnt filling my tank as fast and it is getting louder, almost like its running out of oil. how do i fill the oil back up??? what kind of oil does it take? i can post some pics of the compressor if you need them

I'm not max but, is it a York or a Sanden? Sanden has a fill plug in the top of the case and can be filled to a little over half. The yorks have fill ports on the sides and are best filled at an angle out of the car. Here is a diagram of the comp and dip stick: http://www.onboardair.com/york-manual/pdf/9.pdf
