Okay you may think I'm nutz but what would it take to put a 1JZ-GTE motor out of a Supra in to my 79 Toyota.

your biggest thing would be to see if it fits in the engine bay without cutting the firewall too much, and if you can make custom motor mounts or if the motor mounts line up..

i'm putting a 2jz in the 86 yota i'm building. check out http://forums.celicasupra.com. they have some info on the wiring of the jz motors.
