What's the funniest, most stupid, biggest duuuhhhhhhh moment you've had while working on your truck?
For example: Struggling to get a door light to work, only to find out it's wired to NOTHING? Rebuild your egine only to find out that mysterious noise was a bungie cord rattling? Truck won't start because you've forgotten to put gas in it?

shortening the 2x4 bed on the yota, only to replace it with a 4x4 bed...... or...

completely welding the top together after the chop top, just to cut a big hole in it for a Porsche sun roof.

I was working on my yota years ago and my wrench slipped causing me to hurt my hand.  I was pissed so I threw the wrench at the wall. It bounced off the wall and smacked my windsheild and broke it.  Needless to say, I don't throw tools any more.
