It's a mini truck so you have to shave it all.



 

Front half primed and trying to see what wheels will look like


 

the body was wet sanded with 1500 grit. Now a few more coats of primer. Wet sand again with 1500 and 3000.



 

Every trailer queen needs a lowrider custom trailer. It is sittin on 22's from an impala. Wood deck clear coated sides painted silver metallic. More to come like lights and tongue.

The paint did not turn out the way I wanted so I cleaned it with MEK and it melted the front support off. I am going to trash the body and get another kit to rebuild the body.








 

Still waiting to get another body. I think I am going to have the bed dancing on the next body I find. Or something different.  

Just a minor roadblock! You still have plenty of time.    

try removing paint with brake fluid. it may take a lil while to strip paint, but it won't hurt the plastic!  

Never thought of that. Of course if the paint turned out the way it should have then this would not have been an issue. Thank you for the advice.  

yeah but what a pain in the butt! But now I have a few different ideas to try when I get another kit. Going to try for the bed dancing look or put it on some old skool daytons.
