i want to buy the DJM 3/4 lowering kit to drop my truck. they have a kit with and without shocks, obviously the one without is cheaper and what i want to do.. but its saying i might need to re-use or replace the stock ball joints. can i use my stock ones? do i have to replace them? also, do i HAVE to buy new shocks or can i use the ones i have now? i just bought them a couple months ago so they are fairly new.. or will they not work?

not sure on the balljoints, but i would get the "drop" shocks. i replaced my shocks on my s-10 when i dropped it with stock shocks. i drove 30 miles from my friends house to mine after we did the drop, and the new shocks were already blown out.

they also have 2" drop spindles.. will that add additional 2" drop to the 3" control arms, making that a 5" drop total?
