For Sale- 1988 Mitsubishi Mighty Max SPX MacroCab. 337,000 miles, original owner. 2.6L, 5 speed. PS, Power brakes. Air Conditioning, and it cools fine. I bought this truck brand new, but I have another vehicle, and no longer need it. It is mechanically sound, but uses oil, about 1 qt per 800-900 miles. That is the only thing wrong with it. Runs and idles fine, it just uses oil due to high mileage. It has an in dash CD player and 4 MBQuart speakers with a 50 Watt amp. Cruise and tilt. Everything works, including all the guages. All service records from day one. I converted the carburetor to a Weber when the original Mikuni failed. New shocks. (KYB gas). New Battery and new alternator. It also has a full set of Michelin tires, with less than 5K miles on them. This truck needs nothing. I have spared no expense over the years to keep it in top running condition, but the motor is worn due to mileage. This truck would be great basic transportation for someone, and if you have a motor, throw it in and you can go for lord knows for how long. Bottom line, great for a project, 99% rust free. The trans has been replaced, and shifts fine. Includes factory shop manual for an 89. This truck has served as my only vehicle as a daily driver, and been my trusted friend for over 21 years. Still has PLENTY of life left in it. Clear title, of course. $1800 OBO. Oh yeah, it's red with a grey interior. I registered here because I wanted you guys to have a crack at it. It is for sale locally in Raleigh, NC. Pics available.

I'll get it washed tomorrow and shoot you some pics. Very, very few of these trucks are still owned by the original owner. This is one of them. Hasn't been dikked with, not one bit. I inherited another car when my mom passed, that's why I don't need it anymore.

whoever buys this better take good care of it!!
I have an 86 Mazda, and found the original owner to get the pink signed. I think it lived inside its whole life. Lucky me.
You sure you want to sell it?

"You sure you want to sell it?"

Yeah, I need too. I have health issues and an an uncertain job future. It's my buddy, I want to see it go to a good home. Figgered somebody here that's local to me might see the ad. Damm thing is a freak...just keeps on running. Still has the original exaust, no joke.
