Hey folks, wasup from TN. Need some help trying to wire up a distributor from a 83 720 so my timing will advance properly. See I converted it to carb because the tbi was all screwed up,so now the computer doesnt know when to advance the timing due to no more sensores! So I've got a dist. from a vacume advanced 720. If anyone can help with maybe a wireing diagram or anything would be greatly appriciated!!!thanks!!!

I gotit folks, dont sweat it!LOL!! I found a diagram in a "hanes manual" believe or not. The diagram shows the same truck that I robed the distributor off of! Apparently the early 80's had vacuum advance with electronic ignition without the ecu.The same as a old chevy! The thing "should" run fine when I hook it up. I'll let ya know! And post pics!!!

There are 4 wires (red, white, black, blue.) Red,Blue go to coil (-) neg. .Black goes to coil (+) pos. Just run a 12v. hot to the (+) side of the coils, hook the black to one of those, and the white is NOT used!!!! Thanks to wicked808 over on infamous!!!!!L888888trrrrrrr!!
