Well a lil about the truck its a 97 chevy ex cab silverado, bagged body dropped, complete backhalf, shaved, so on and so on.. anyways as i was driving home the other day the bracket i had made to move the abs controller out of the way of the tires broke. It caused the controller box to catch the wheel and rip out brake lines, i noticed a sound when i was turning, but was going to check it out when i got home.. I turned, then eventually came up to a stop light and went for the brakes and there was nothing there what so ever, instead of smacking cars at the light i tried dragging the truck to a stop, and ended up swerving onto the median to miss the stopped cars,. at the end of the median as my luck would have it there was a pole. the truck vs the pole,. pole wins, it all happened so quickly i wish i could of done it all over now,.. but the good part is nobody got hurt. just my truck. now the front crossmember sits 4 inches off the ground and the whole front is smooshed. i think i can rebuild it with a new clip and some body parts its just going to be a loooong time until the truck sees the show field again here are some various pics before and after.. oh by the way this was my daily
before

after

oh man, that's such a bummer. Probably better a pole than a car yeah? You've got that - I'm sure it'll come out better than before!
