tuckn22s:
Each corner and at the compressor is great
I dont run them on the bags though..just the compressor...I have never needed them on the corners but its a good idea in case you blow a line or something it wont dump the entire truck even if you loose all tank pressure

same here.

yea install check valves inline after the tank and before your fill valves. Sounds like you don't have enough pressure or volume in the tank and the valves are back filling into the tank. If you are only running 150 psi compressors 200 psi compressors would also help and possably a bigger tank if you have a small one right now.

harder to build pressure with bigger tanks - compressors have to pump that much MORE air

if hes runnin a tiny compressor with a 3 gallon tank thats not gona do much good. I would suggest a Viair 480 dual pack and an 8 gallon tank, great combo. At very minimal I suggest a 5 gallon tank with a Viair 380. But to each there own.

I might have already asked, are you running a pressure switch? Or - how do you gauge how much tank pressure you have?

you can take a spray bottle with a little dish detergent in it and spray all your fittings a little to see if you get bubbles.. then you know where the leak is if it's externally leaking.. but if it only happens when you hit the rears then your air lines are depressurizing faster than your tank can send air into them.. like everything else in nature everything follows the path of least resistance..

yea i still say run 200 psi or at the very least get check valves for your front bags.

did you do the soapy water when it WASN'T already at 0?   But seriously, I wonder what's wrong. You really shouldn't have to run check valves for your bags...

bagged98ranger:
I have a bagged 98 ranger it is only bagged front and back not side to side and when i lift the back the front drops. And if i air my bags up and leave them over night the back stays up all night and the front doesnt so i put my front valves on the back and the back valves on the front and the front still drops i dont know what it is i dont know it the guy i got the truck from wired it wrong or what but it is not safe cause if im drivin down the road and lift the back the front drops and the whole front is draggin on the road

if the front drops overnight, that reeks of a leak, and in swappinig the valves, you'd think you'd catch a leak if there was one past the lift valves, but the same thing happened.   there are so many factors. It really takes knowing tank pressure and pressure for the front and back, and a check valve off the compressor at least.
