Sounds like you have a air line ran wrong or a wire ran wrong and i would say you might have a leak at the bag fitting or some thing like that after the valve. I would take it all out and reinstall it all. that would be your best bet. that way you know how it was ran and how the wires are ran.

the front drops as in the valve opens and the front drops, or it "does it on its own"? What is your tank pressure? Does the front ever "drop" on its own when you hit big bumps? Do you have gauges?

sounds like some see saw action to me. what kind of switchbox are you using? and the slow leak is likely a fitting.

perhaps this is just me, but pushing air back into the tank only happens when the tank pressure is too low.

sorry to probe so much, but what kind of pressure would that be? Full is relative when it comes to air

air pressure is like a tug of war game the front would only drop if the press in the front bags was higher than the tank press...what ever the case may be check valves are always a great idea!!
depending on how old the valves are they may need to be cleaned and rebuilt

Each corner and at the compressor is great
I dont run them on the bags though..just the compressor...I have never needed them on the corners but its a good idea in case you blow a line or something it wont dump the entire truck even if you loose all tank pressure
