I have a 98 S10 with two in. coils in front and three in. blocks in back. I plan to go to a 4/5 by adding 2 in. spindles and 3 in. leaf springs (switching the 3 in. blocks w/ 2 in.) Is that the best way?  Will I need to remove the bump stops?  If so do they come off or do I have to permanently remove them?  Also, if I decide to bag it later, will I need to have someone do it or can I do it at home?  I saw that they sell a bolt on kit at suicidedoors but will I still have to weld?  I know I will have to cut?

ok this is going to be a long one,

The way you plan to lower it will work fine, with the bump stops you will need to cut them off and replace them with rubber bump stops,(rubber ones require a drill). If you plan to bag it later I highly recomend you build your own stup knotch with the U shaped cut out ssd sells, its stronger and way cleaner if done right, but is alot more work and requires tools (welder, plasma if you can get one,) and a its a good idea to know how to fab it all together correctly so you dont break stuff wile driving. If you cant weld make GOOD friends with some one who can.

I had a friend that did the kit and it took way londer to put it on then it did to build your own, then again its just my oppinion.
