Hey all, new here but been doin work on my nissan for bout 2 years, then put it in the garage for about 2 years.

Recently I have decided to continue the work on it because it is no longer a DD and can sit torn apart for a while.

I am first starting by shaving doors, hood, tailgate and lights. Already have done the gas door and rollpan. Right now it has a static drop of about 3" around, but looking to bag it when the funds roll in.

My first question is does anyone know or have suggestions of a good welder that does not use a 220 outlet that I can do body welding with? I have some experience with welding, but dont know much about buying welders.

Second, right now I have 16X7s on it but I want to bump up to a 17" but know there are backspacing issues with many wheels. Does anyone know of a good set that dont run more than 300 or so each? or have any for sale :P

Much thanks guys, Ill be asking about airbag kits in a little while so feel free to throw some info.

Also, are there any good nissan tech guides out there? I have the one on this site about bagging, its very helpful.

Lincoln Power MIG 140C
Home projects and repair, sheet metal autobody work, farm and small shop welding - the Power MIG 140C is designed for 120 volt household power.
You can use the continuous voltage control to precisely dial in the settings, some thin sheet metal and aluminum applications require this for optimal results.

This is what i use for body work and some heavy welding. i love it.. It will run about $650.00 but worth the money.

You can get the 17" cadillac escalade wheels for about $300 for a set of 4 from ebay or craigslist.  They are something that you will be able to run even after you bag your truck.  You need a high positive offset to tuck wheel on an HB. You can also get a nice set of Alba or Boss wheels with tires for around 1200.  Mine are 8" Albas with a +38mm offset and they work fine on a bd'd truck.
