good deal! just be sure to take pictures AS you're going of the progress! Just re-sent you the confirmation PM, and you've been on "the list" from the start....so no worries there.

So here is what I started with. It's a Lindberg 1/20th scale S-10 SS It had a lready been partially built as box stock when I got it, but it would'nt stay that way for long. It took me about a half an hour after midnight to have the truck apart the rest of the way,the bed cut out, and the drivers side door cut out. Heres a mock-up picture of what I hope it will look like when its done I've kind of been going from one thing to the other so it isn't very organized but I've got the tube back half done using a wire coat hanger. file:///E:/MISC/Picture%20026.jpg I used some thin balsa wood for my rear bag mounts and the kit supplied wheel retainers for the front. Also on the front the factory upper control arms were molded to the frame so those had to go so that the new tubular units could be put in their place. For the front suspension I am using A Revell 1964 Impala Donks Edition lower control arms and cross member with the factory S-10 spindles For front bags I used a Couple of Dremel Sanding drums. Other than that not to much body work has gone on. I have the body filler where it needs to be but I haven/t started sanding yet.I also cut out the grill, but my camera just died so I''l have to get those pictures on monday when the library opens back up.

hey man, when you do your pics you will need to upload them to a website. i use http://www.photobucket.com. it's free to sign up and makes it really easy. when you upload the pics it will give you a url for each picture that is already wrapped with [img], and all you will need to do is copy and paste it to the forum.

Thanks, but the library has blocked the photobucket website so I guess pictures will have to wait.

Okay I've made some progress.Still no pics yet hopefully tomorrow.I've got the frame done, phantom grille done, compressors are done, air tanks done.I'm having a hard time smoothing out the body as I am making a unibody version but hopefully I can get it done in time.I still have to rebuild the engine, start the interior, finish the body work, make door hinges, and paint.and to think I almost thought of throwing in the towl when I am this close to being finished.

Okay finaly pictures, I'll try to describe them but there are like 80 so it might take awhile.I almost gave up ,but then ithought that I would dedicate this model to my first truck.Which was totalled three months after I sold it to a friend of mine.

Sorry I still don't have any pictures yet. Some of them are on my photobucket page, but like I said here at the library I can't get to them.I've made a little bit more progress though.I've got the motor mounted and almost done.I've started on the split hood.I've got the grille molded into the body and I started work on the door panels. Also when I cut the doors out I accedentally broke the rocker panels but zI,m working on that too.I've got some hinges going on for the doors, not quit sure what I'm doing there but I think that they will work.As I said I'll have pictures up as soon as possible.
