door removal on jimmy HELP!!!

I have found a pair of doors on a 97 jimmy but I do not know how to completely get them off. I have tried to find the power source for the power windows and power mirrors but have failed. I don't know whether it is best to try to remove the whole power harness or cut it off and buy a new one. please help as soon as possible I need info on this by monday.

well the only thing you can really do is take off the intirior door panel and start unhooking the electrical conectors from everything and feed the harness out the door. and just reverse for install just make sure you draw or take pictures of how and where all the wiring goes. dont forget a hammer to knock out the hinge bolts.

Would you recommend just unplugging the wiring harness and leaving it and then buying a new wiring harness for my truck? I don't have power windows or mirrors so I don't have a wiring harness already in my truck. Thanks man, glad someone outthere knows what to do.

well i say while ur there take the wiring harness. if you buy new its probably no goin to be cheep. plus takeing the wirings harness from used will help you know where things go when installing.
