Ive tried a couple different things to try cutting out the doors on some of my old model kits that i had when i was a little younger, i tried a razor blade, and a utility knife... and they mangled the kits... if im gunna be building a kit for contest three its gunna have functional doors... what are you guys using to cut your doors out??

calm down man..... u sound like u are in labor!!! i use the "thread method" take a brand new exacto blade, turn it around (so the sharp side is towards you, (obviously be careful!) and on the top side of the door line (or roof, the most straight line), drag the back side of the blade back and forth slowly until the blade finally cuts threw, i would recomend surrounding ur door or what ever u r cutting out with tape, to help with blade slip damage!! as soon as u get a hole big enough to get some sewing thread through, ur good!! then take some sewing thread, put a couple of wraps around both fore fingers and let the friction do the work! if u have problems let me know, and i would be happy to do some kustom work for u!
