i just got into the mini truckin and i need help with the truck i jut bought. its an 2001 s-10. its been doing great but today i drove it across town and i let it down and then it acted like i didnt have any air in the tank. i can hear my valves click but no air will go in the bags. it has an engine driven compressor under the hood. maybe it needs oil? maybe its because its cold outside? i dont know.

It sounds like for sure you didn't have any air. How long had you left it? How did you get it home? (Were you able to air it up and drive home?)

i didnt drop it all of the way i just lowered the backend. then i had enough air to get it almost level. when i got home i played with it some more now its even lower and all it does when i hit the switch is just sit there. it will go down but not up. i dont know where the oil goes in the pump. i've had this truck for about two days now. never fooled with an engine driven. it does not leak oil. maybe its the valves. when i hit the switch to make it raise up it just clicks

cool! literally. ok then, lesson learned, don't live where it freezes.   if you don't have air gauges, that would help - when tank pressure and bag pressure even out, you'll get the valve click with "nothing" happening

I just caught what you said...A pressure switch should still work fine even in 30 degree weather what type of pressure switch do you have? Have you considered relocating the pressure switch? I am assuming that it is directly mounted on the tank is this correct? If so and you have air guages you could tee into the tank pressure line and run the pressure switch inside the cab
