ok well maybe someone can help me with this then. When I bought the truck it needed A trans, becouse the old one dint get reverse. So I changed it. The first day out all is good, the next day I'm driving around and all of A sudden, it starts sputering like hell as if it was running out of gas, but when when I ease the gas it will pick up fine. it dosent do it in reverse, neutral or park.if I power brake it, it will dam near kill, along with some back fireing.
I was told to change the fuel pump, but when I dropped the tank the inside of the tank is clean, and the pump seems very strong, so I just cleaned it up and put it back.I rebuit the tbi, and changed the fuel filter. this is really gettin under my skin, also my check engine light comes one when it starts sputtering. any thoughts?
