sorry guys!!..been running crazy!..it just showed up in the mail finally!!...was supposed to be a week ago....cracked it open this morning and started cranking on it..will have more posts tomorrow....figured out her name finally!!!she will now be known as "Drift Dawg"..alittle about the build, it WAS a Ford Courier A.K.A. early Mazda B2000..i couldn't find a dawg so i'm turning her into one!..so far it's been fully shaved, unibodied, just waiting for my mystery parts car to show up!..i will have alot more pics to come..here you go..hope you like the progress!..



 

still waiting for some more parts to show up so i can finish my chassis..no one around here had them in stock...i got over four hours in the body so far and it's coming out exactly as planned..very many but VERY subtle mods...can't wait for my parts!!!!...this thing is killing me to get on the chassis!..

 

**pictures enlarged to show detail**    ...well...i can't figure out how to resize them so i had to come up with a good excuse.....also i am realizing how much of a nightmare it is to be doing a 1:25th scale truck!..everything is alot smaller, and not too many other models are 1:25th anymore!! which means alot of custom fab because 1:24th parts don't fit right  

i seen a few of these on ebay, but since they are vintage kits they are exspensive. looking forward to your mods.  

so far so good! Hope your parts have arrived or at least will be arriving soon. Another unique build!  

i'm still cranking on it..been working like 70+ hours a week and my parts still haven't arrived yet...i should have some more pics up later tonight though..

ok..parts finally came in and i have been cranking on it..only a quarter way through the rear suspension but you can already tell where i'm going with it alittle..i have my own repair/custom shop in Conn and i am in the process of doing a slammed fullsize that used to be my driver..had someone lined up with cash to buy the truck but they bailed..i'm only selling it to bag and do more work to my Mazda and try to get it ready for a few shows next year...been running crazy between work, my 6 year old and life in general....glad i'm still able to find some time at night to work on the "drift dawg".got alot in my head..got to get in down in plastic for you all to see!..next update!



 

cool! glad the parts came. so far so good, there's still plenty of time.  

man!!!..this is killing me!! i don't know where all these guys keep finding hydro pumps and air compressors!!..i know that you have to cutsom build the bags but i keep seeing all these trucks with definately stock from a kit parts..it's killing me!!
