1972 Datsun 521 pickup, 6 speed 2.0 swap. Body straight, lowered on 15" steel wheels. 6 speed out of a 300z, 2.0 engine. Blew a head gasket and the machinist lost the head or something. Engine is apart. I'll put pics up tonight. $1200 obo. Located in Fort Mohave, az, 86442. Could possibly deliver to Vegas, Kingman, Lake Havasu, Parker, ect.

I've wanted a Datsun p/u ever since I was a kid, and my grandfather started hauling me around with him. Damn did this thread ever bring back some memories!
Wish to hell I could jump on this one! Just too much standing in my way!
KILLER truck! And hope to see it go to a good new owner.

Sam -
PS My friend has one. They nicked it the "DatStang"... It's sporting a Rustang 5.0, and it is F-A-S-T! haha

Problem is that the OEM T5's aren't that strong, even behind small blocks. A 400 would be very iffy. You want strength and an overdrive? Install a Gear Vendors unit behind a strong 4 speed: M22, Super T10, Top loader. Not cheap [$2200 for the GV unit], but bullet proof in the long run.
