so i saw the deal with mt n ssm teaming up... ive already got this build going on ssm...

I bought an 03 s10 bagged and bd'd back in early 06... i had intentions of keeping it my daily, and just putting some sounds and interior in it, and call it a day... well one thing lead to another and here's the story behind my truck aka " the body-drop-top''...

here's how the truck looked after i bought it... she stayed like this for about 4 months... till i started hackin it up...

and then this...

lead to this...

so after doing the interior n cruising it for a while, i decided i needed a daily, so i picked up a tahoe n kept the dime just for show...

then after keeping it as is, i made a 10ft beer bong, and got pretty hammered... and after looking at it i said "this would be sick with no roof!" about an hr later the truck looked like this...

then on the way back to the house after these pictures, the drive shaft snagged my upp link bars and ripped my driveshaft out the rear end...

then it sat like this for about 6months at my shop... i lost motivation and didnt even care to look at the thing...

then i decided i should get a new driveshaft so i could move it at the shop... got some motivation, and started doing work.. started cutting fillers and welded em up...

started shaving the handles, gas door, and roughed in the bodywork...

GOT A SET OF 22IN DUBS SPONSORED FROM DUB/MHT WHEELS...that led to a ssbc 7in chrome brake booster to allow it to lay flat...

got the bodywork done n put the whole truck in black primer... got a new hood, headlights, tail lights, ss bumper cover, and hacked up stock bumper brackets to allow the stock rear bumper to go on it...

sucked the bumper into the truck to eliminate that fat gap between the bumper n bed corners...figured it would be different since 90% of the trucks you see bd'd have roll pans...

and here's how she sits now...

i plan on welding the doors shut this week, using s10 bed rails and some creativity..  ill keep you posted as i make more progress..

future plans are to skin the rear end, shave the tail lights, weld doors shut, complete sheet metal interior other than seats and dash, and tub the firewall for 22s since the front is about 1/2in front laying flat...

now help me get this build in the magazine!!!!

keep in mind, this is my first full build, just learned how to weld a few weeks prior to starting this truck, and im 22

ive gotten more work done to this thing in the last month than i have on any project ive ever had... its amazing how far you get with a little determination, motivation, and the will to build up a head-turning truck...

any comments, suggestions, and haters is very welcomed
