Isnt an edge the same thing as a regular ranger, just different body mods?

it also includes an off road suspension on it so that is why i thought springs wouldnt work.

If its a 2WD truck then it shouldnt matter right? but I just googled ranger edge suspension and all i can find is lift kits for the front. but i can find lowering for the rear. Dont quite understand that one, but okay...

With the 2wd EDGE model, they just took everything from the 4wd and swapped it over just without 4wd obviously. It makes lowering the front much a big pain in the ass. The front engine crossmember will hit which causes you not to get very lower at all. A 5/7 drop will put it about a 2/4 regular ranger drop.

You could just turn the torsion bar keys to drop it a little bit, maybe 2".

Thats correct, you could back the adjusting bolts out, but that would cause the steering to feel extremely spongey, your best bet would be to get on bell tech or summit racing, and order torsion bar keys, i paid like 130$ for mine and the install took no more then an hour

what about flipping the keys i have heard that this can possibly be the easiest and most cost effective way to do the front end.
