I think I want an Hombre. Just BECEAUSE. It's NOT an S10 (muwahahaha), and really, I haven't seen too many. Anyone have one? I want to see!

ok good news on my Hombre hunt. A red one lives literally across the street. It normally parks on a side street, but recently it's been right there BAMMMMM in front of me.
I've been spying on it, trying to figure out how to approach it. What I need, is the keys in my hands, or to convince mr. hombre to sneak over to my place, just to hang out a little.
any suggestions? This is fantastic news! ;-)

I have a 2000 Hombre. 2.2L, regular cab, short bed, 6" static drop, but will one day be bagged. I love it, for the same reason you're wanting one: it's not an S10. Close enough to take advantage of the multitudes of aftermarket parts, but still distinctly different. Yeah, I love mine.

Hello there, 96 Hombre owner here. I have a few questions, as I love this truck. She is still stock but not for long. I got the little chrome American Racing rims & a chrome rocker panel but that is all. Things are about to change though. My question is, I want to start bolting on aftermarket parts. Can I get away with using S-10 stuff? Example, will any of the S-10 "extreme" front bumper covers fit my truck? Or even those "Southern Comfort" S-10s they put out in mid 90s? I am trying to learn all part interchangeability if anyone out there knows about this. Is there a site I can visit? I have had & still own Isuzus for quite some time. I have the rare AWD turbo Impulse (with $20K in it) the old 89 LS Trooper (sold that) & all the other FWD Isuzu cars I have owned at least one in the past. I picked this Hombre because it is basically an S-10 but not really. So I can still be different, which is what I love!
