How much trouble would it to swap out the 2.3 of the ranger and put on a 302 on it?

Depending on what your plans are for your truck. I'm in the process of that in a 98 ranger. My truck is also bagged and bodydroped. Haven't got the motor finished yet but it shouldn't be hard with all the conversion companys they have. Hopefully have the motor finished in the next couple of weeks and I'll let you know how it was.

what year ranger ???? if it's post 93 even being bagged and bodydropped it is not that difficult u have to trim all extra metal around the tranny area and theres 2 diff sets of motor mounts offered for the conversion one set does work others dont but i cant remember numbers and also the headers they hav the frame has to be notched a lil to fit or otherwise custom headers made to fit
