Ok now i know that there has been alot of talke latley about the small amount of shows and fewer towns willing to allow us to hold our events. and i personaly think that we have to decide who we are if we want to change any of this i know that MT as a culter we go against the norm and push the boundries of can be done or should be done but at the same time that dosnt mean we have to destroy every thing we come in contact with now dont take this as a hollier than thow statement i have broke my share of laws and gotten pleanty of little yellow peices of paper lol but i know that i have a two year old son that already loves the sport almost as much as i do if you were to ask him today what he wants to do at any time he will build me a truck with dad and I couldnt be more proud of that but at the rate we are going im just hoping that there is still a sport around for hime when he gets my age and im one 21 but im not new to the scene. I did read a aticle and it was said that maybe we should make shows 21 and up and no primer because the kids could be causeing the problems but i dont agree i think we as the adults should just decide WHO WE ARE AND WHO WE WANT TO BE KNOWN AS so this isnt trying to put down anyones elses suggestions because we have to do somthing so just reply back and let me know what you think i really would like to from the MAG its self and especialy all the rest of you like me building your truck peice by peice in your garage. SO WHO ARE WE?

ok me personally, I'd say knock off the drinking. If you're looking to party, go somewhere else, not to a show. It ruins it for everyone else who is actually there for the shows. #1 if you're under 21, and many of you are, it's illegal. #2 drunk people do stupid things and make stupid choices, which is bad when combined with vehicles. Also, quit trying so hard to associate mini truckin' with rebellion and badass-ness. I just personally think profanity on your back window is unnecessary and yeah, towns might not be so welcoming to that. I know how it is, I've been in this since I was 16 and I know the culture. Feel free to give me a compelling argument as to if I'm wrong and why!

i agree with all of you, i love building trucks, i love going to the shows, i hate how the shows are used as an excuse to be a *** I'm 22, i have a 3 year old daughter and a nine month old son, i have every intention to try and get them in on the fun. my daughter loves going in the garage and playing with "her truck". i plan on taking her to the shows now that she is old enough to have fun and not have to be in a stroller all day. I personnaly have never drank, and will try my hardest to ensure my kids make the same decision. i think it would be a shame if the younger crowd never gets a chance to enjoy the sport/art of mini truckin. maybe instead of putting a minimum age to get in a show they should stop selling the beer. My uncle used to drink alot as a teen, and when i was about 13 he said "if you have to drink to have fun you're a boring person". it's stuck in my head ever since.
