This is about 2 months after I got it. Tinted the doors and put a system in it. I swore that was all I was going to do. After a major failure with the hydraulics that caused a small fire in 2004 I decided to bag it (should have the first time).Flareside bed with shaved tails and raised floor. On the way to Showfest 06Last summer at a lot of shows - 07Started working on it again, got some clear rear quarter glass (PITA to find) for the fishbowl look. And finally caught up to this year....major work! One door startedFender shaved and new Edge hood addedPlate box, new tag, gotta fix old body workWorking on the cowlShaved seams and some other cool stuffDropped in a 1st Gen Dime bench seat...getting recovered with the rest of the interior this winter.Had to take it out to one show at least this yearAs of right now both doors are suicided and braced. Just gotta finish fixing some stuff on the bed, some small body work on the cab then its headed for the paint booth. All the recent body work and the paint is being done @ Wilson Auto Body in Alma, AR.
hey man truck looks good what color scheme u going with
Its going back red. I loved the color which is why I bought the truck over a couple others on the lot so I want to keep this one that color.
why did you go with that bed? just like it or?
To be different more then anything. While I love the look of a body dropped ride on big wheels, its not what I wanted to go with on this truck and you don't see nearly as many flareside bed trucks done anymore since you can't easily lay on big wheels with them.
aight, that works.
Brought it out for Sparks. Nearly all the cab body work is done. Still got to work on the bed. More pics tomorrow. I was busy working the show all day.
Someone's coverage of my truck from show.
Looks good
Thanks.Couple more from the show.
