The sign up date came too quick for me...I cannot have a chance at the feature right?  

don't feel bad, i started an s-10 i had layin around, but i didn't sign up cuz i had already shaved about a half inch of the extreme molding off the cab.  

Yeah I guess whatever then, I'll just keep building for fun...growing up my dad had a 72 blazer so I'm gonna build this one the way I would do it. And someday I will build the real thing in memory of my dad who just recently passed away. I have a lot of things I would like to build and this is up on the top of the list...I'm 23 so I have plenty of time!  

yeah, definitely keep building for fun! Practice for when you build the real thing.    

ya to make it fair all the kits had to be brand new so no one could say somebody got a head start  

There really is no way to tell if anyone started it before hand or not. They could've started it 2 weeks ago and just been taking pictures the whole way through and just started posting those pictures now.  

I havent had time to do anything...picked up styrene and everything but just cant find the time.

I'm done working on this project...I moved onto something else that needs finishing...peep it!







 

so what's in the books for this?    

I'm gonna do an air setup on it...I have 2 cylinders and a little airbag but I'm not sure if I'm gonna go with the cylinders for a cantilever setup or just do the bag. I have to mold all the frame welds and do a few other little things. I'll post more pictures when I start crackin on it again.
