hey all!i sold my (ahem...) rusty mazdawg a few weeks ago,and bought my 3rd ranger (a 90-the others were an 86,and an 88,both of those had the carbed 2.0L).bought this one from the origonal owner,my wife's stepdad's nephew,w/ only 92000 miles.it sat for about 6 years, and has an aggrivatin miss i can't seem to track down (i'm assumin that since it has the twin plug head,it's a 2.3L?),and he painted it b4 he decided to sell it.looks good for a stock truck (all but the 2 deep scratches on the hood made by a hormonal horse...don't ask ).
the others i had were b4 i got into minis and were stock.i wanna play w/ this one a lil,but since i recently took a huge paycut ($1150 clear per week to about $475,but i no longer hafta go coast-coast in an 18'er,i drive a concrete truck locally now),and it's the only income for my family (of 4) for right now.soooo, what'd be the cheapest way to drop some altitude (this is my daily driver by the way),jus to "do me" as i do some body mods (shavin, frenchin, etc),and interior work (gunna try and budget a sound system peice by peice)?cut the coils and drop beams/homaid rear end flip?ideas?suggestions?eventually mama will get outta school and join the workforce, and then i should be able to budget baggin it,and hopefully have the mods i want mostly done.
oh,uh,"ps:",how do ya post pix here?thanx!

nice! Those Rangers look so nice, totally dig 'em.
Do you eventually want to bag it?
to post pics, you'll need a full url (try photobucket); highlight that url, and then click on the "Image" icon above - see it's the square with the mountain and yellow background. You should see your pic show up in the preview and in the post.

cool, thanx!i'm gunna hafta get off here in a few,0600 comes early ,i'll try and snap a pic by the weekend and get it up.
![]() yeah,i wanna eventually bag it,but it'll be a while before i have the time,$,or the ability to pull it off the road long enuff,so i was thinkin of just gettin as much slammy-ride-be-danged (hey,i drive an 85 mack cement truck evryday ) for the mean time.anythin'd be better than stock high ridin. well,i guess i'd better crash fer the nite,i'll check back in over the weekend.know any good ranger sites?later, and hava good eve!

I own a '97 2.3L, I'd call it mostly stock. I've done a few touches here and there. I'm currently saving for bags and rims.
Oh yeah that yellow and silver(grey) ranger is sick as ***
'97 Ranger, small drop, custom interior, blow thru. Nothing special but I did just buy a Welder....hehehe
