I am looking to buy an s10 for carrying tools, steel beams, a generator and maybe moving furniture, would you recommend a 4 cyl or a 6 cyl...a 4 cyl might save me on gas but it might wear out quicker from hauling weight as opposed to a 6 cyl that will take more gas but last me longer thus less mechanical problems and more power.
2.2 L 120 hp (89 kW) I4 4.3 L 165 hp (123 kW) V6
Any comments are welcome.... thanx

I'd go with the 4.3 myself . It won't use as much gas as you'd think it does , as long as ya keep it tuned up and oil changed . You'd kill the 4 cyl and prolly use more gas depending on the weight you carry . Not to mention you can pick up some mpg by gettin a standard tranny vs an automatic .
Of course i drag my tag . http://www.myspace.com/firerat6069 http://www.myyearbook.com/tagdragger4life
