Everything was going fine this morning. I didn't mean for it happen, but after a quick visit to readers' rides, I found myself on craigslist, hunting for Datsuns, Fords, Mitsus, Chevy's. I don't NEED a truck, but I found myself WANTING, staring, considering, completely lusting over trucks 20+ years old. At first I just minimized the screen, but instantly I brought it back up. With the encouragement of others, I finally X'd it and carried on with the day.

DO NOT IMPULSIVELY BUY A TRUCK....AGAIN.  

I check craigslist daily for anything mini, just sucks I'm so broke I can't afford to change my mind. At least there is a section of free junk.

Seriously though, close Craigslist... it's evil... pure evil...  

I am always lookin around here for more minis to hack up . LOL . But here  there are a lot of old datsuns and d-50s runnin around . And even more just sittin around in the weeds . I bet most ppl would sell em for a lil bit of nothing , but i am so broke .BTW , if y'all need parts or trucks , gimmie a hollar and a lil time , i might be able to turn up some good stuff . And i am in West Virginia , BTW .  

I would love an old datsun or d50! (see, that's not impulsive, that's very pre-meditated)... unlike the Mazda, which we weren't looking for but found, called on, saw, and bought within about a 4 hour time frame, without consulting the parental units...  

i do that exact same thing, today im going to look at an '83 mazda just because it sounds like a good deal. not that i need one, because i already have 2 '86 mazdas and a '64 datsun. its just that ive always wanted one.  

I make a phone call on a '98 Hombre today after lunch... thankfully I was talked out of doing anything else  

i was just cruisin around and noticed this thread again. a little after i made that post i ended up buying another datsun 320 off of CL. even though i put that truck up for sale today, i noticed 3 datsun 620s on CL sittin in a field that he wants $50 each for them. im goin to look at them tomorrow. i cant control myself.  

whoa, really? that's way cool, good luck! 3 Datsuns just chillin' in a field? let us know how it goes!  

dudes, i know what your talking about..  im in old school mental stage.. my mind doesnt see nor care about anything newer than like 84..lol... if i see a tail light shimmering off in the distance in  some farmers feild.. im off to investigate.. its sad really.. my buddy and i went  back ally cruizing  in town just to see what we could see.  found a datsun bulliet side  ext cab, and a 521.. just chillin.. and ya, i bet these fols dont know what they have.. i have found 4 couriers ( 1st gens) and one mazda 1st gen, none of which are running around town.. all of which start and they want like 100 bucks for these trucks..  77-84 mazdas and couriers are a daily sight here.. im in  mini truck heaven..
