Ever since I bagged the front of my 98 ranger the bags seemed to catch on something. We couldn't figure out what it was so we took out the 2500 and cut seriously everything that could ever possibly hit the bag and put 2600s in. The seemed to do ok for the first couple of days but now it is doing the same thing. I swear there is nothing for it to be hitting on. Has anybody experienced this? Is there a magical piece of metal that falls into place when you lift the front of these trucks then disappears when you search for it? Any sugestions on finding this culprit?

Ok but be prepared it is super hard to explain. When I lift the front one side lifts pretty much fine and the other side kind of gets stuck and then eventually with enough pressure or if you go around a corner fast it seems to pop almost and get up to the right hight. It makes a terrible noise and originally we thought that it was the cup settling in the spring pocket but that doesn't seem to be the case. Does that help at all?

Are the cups bolted in? Are the tie rod ends clearing the frame? Some times if you don’t clearance the frame wide enough for the tie rod ends it can hit the frame just enough to hold the truck down, then like you said, finally let loose.
