If you could go buy a new diesel mini truck, how AWESOME would that be?!  

Would that quailify a person to have their mini in 8-lug magazine. After all it is the mag for diesel enthusiasts.

i don't know about a new diesel mini but at the local junkyard there is a 1984 b2200 which has the diesel 2.2l that i keep thinking about picking up to drop the engine in my 83. who knows, i may do it one day???

my 2.0 really isn't all that bad. it is much stronger than the 86-93 model 2.0s and 2.2s. when i was a kid i had a 65 mustang fastback with a 302. i got pulled over so many times i finally decided that going fast just isn't where it's at. haha. i mainly just want the diesel so that when i pull up to a show with a mini that is rumbling with that diesel sound, it will turn some heads. because come on, how many old school  diesel minis do you really see out there. haha.  

ya dude thats exactly why you shoudl do it.. my budy cory is building an 86 yota with a deisel engine in it for that reason...

and i agree with sppeding dude..lol. i just wanna drive mine.. damn 35 year old engines..LOL.. i think ill rebuild mine.  and eventually do the body work so its perfect.. and who knows.. maybe even shinny paint.. i never thought id say that..LOL

and yeah, a mini diesel would be totally sick...always have my eyes peeled

i get anywhere from 25-30 mpg right now, well when my tranny was working. haha. which is one reason why i love driving it all the time. my 04 f150 gets like 15. haha. sucks!

the only thing i don't understand is why in the hell is diesel so much more than gas???
