Has anyone swapped an LS2 into a round-body ('94-'03) S-10? Any tips, experiences, advice?

Crate builds drop ins for s-10s, it'll need diff and tranny work either way. Prolly some strut bars from the rotational tq and some fatties in back to keep the tires from breaking. An LS2 will take a lot of frame work and might have to lose the AC and power steering depending on how it fits in there. Almost gonna need a blower through the hood or cowl for either I'd guess. I'm just going to stick to tuning my 4.3 or saving up for an inline 6 and swapping. I know that an LT1 fits in s-10s saw it in Car and Track, the beast was whooping some bootay when the tranny knocked, so make sure you do it right. Dudes name was real long and German, somethingfelder or another.

Built by the late  John Lingenfelter. Lingenfelter.com is still open to business, but they aren't cheap.

Somewhat of an urban legend was the 2001 427 CID twin turbo Sonoma all wheel drive pickup.  This truck was originally a GMC display vehicle that would run 9 second quarter mile with street tires.  The truck was very original and featured a front mount charge cooler that took the place of the radiator, which was moved to the bed of the truck.  Air reached the rear mount radiator via electric fans, which pulled air up into the bed through the radiator and back down out of the rear of the bed.  All of this was concealed under an unsuspecting carbon fiber bed cover.  This truck made exhibition runs at Pro Stock Truck races back in 1998.  This truck was also featured in the Car & Driver shoot out in September 2002.

I had the same questions a few days ago and came across the s10.com site. It's not nearly as difficult as you may think.
