Well I finally got the time and money to paint her, then I decided that if I was going to put large vinyls down the side, they would look better on a smooth surface. So I shaved the body lines down the side of the truck.



Heres the vinyl that will be going down the sides..


Then I finally got rid of that 3rd brake light. I will be installing 6 leds in the space just above the rear window and the roof.

If you look close, you can see the holes for the leds..



Well she she is after first coat.... ah love that Blue...

how exactly did you shave the bodylines? did you weld in metal or use filler only? I really like the blue.

I felt that the body lines weren't that deep to warrant welding a filler plate. I first stripped off the paint, to bare metal. I then filled a portion of it with fiberglass, then bondo on top.
