does anyone know of any upcoming shows in Alabama or in places just a state away from Alabama? i know NOPI is coming back to ATL in September. it's always fallen on the weekend of my b'day and i say i'm gonna go every year, but i haven't gone to it yet. now that i have a truck worth showin' up in, i've gotta go! so i'll be celebrating my b'day at NOPI this year. i've heard it's just a bunch of Civics, but oh well. Let me know if there are any shows near me a that are a little sooner than NOPI. and if anyone in the Birmingham, AL area is interested in starting up a show, let's do it!  

in regards to what 5569 said about me "BETTER be going" to NOPI, i really hope to go. my g/f said something about me not being able to go. F that, i'm going! it's my b'day for cryin' out loud! lol. we'll have to find a baby sitter for my "step-daughter". yes, i meant to put that in quotes. i'm not married to my g/f, but the baby isn't mine. i just started dating her about a month ago and even she's refering to me the baby's daddy. i'm the one she wants her daughter to know as daddy.  the baby is due in early August. my g/f's mom better babysit her grand-daughter. otherwise it'll be just me going to the show and leaving my g/f behind. i'd really like for my g/f to come too though. i can have her model w/ my truck or something lol. maybe. we'll see. i won't enter my truck in the show. i've barely done any work to it, so there's no point. my truck is still on stock suspension and some 15" Enkei wheels and meaty tires. maybe i can at least get some tires w/ a smaller sidewall to lower my truck a little. i hope i need new tires by then  

the bottom line is that you are NOT dad, you are NOT married to her, and you are young and have a mere month invested in this so far. I'll leave it at that.

Work on your truck, enjoy bein' a kid, dream big, go to shows
