i was also reading another post of yours about shocks. you seem to know your stuff and i dont have any shocks on mine. any bump feels like a hill. is it simple to install shock relocaters i know i dont have any in the back and i havent checked the front but i imagen that the guy b4 me didnt put any in. Should i run shocks? I do run the risk of droping my drive shaft but will it mess the air ride up or put extra strain on it?

shocks are always a "good idea" wink wink (sorry that was for Monica, inside joke) but yeah it is always a good idea to run them and it is not hard at all, just weld on the tab and bolt in the shocks. If you decide to buy some I can give you some pointers on where to mount them if you want.

I am runnin without shocks , still , and wanna put em on asap . The rears look easy enough (i got a shock bar kit from Suicide doors when i ordered all my stuff) but the front ones , whoa . It is a 93 S-10 and i am puzzled on how to get the relocating brackets in a good spot to prevent binding .
Of course i drag my tag . http://www.myspace.com/firerat6069 http://www.myyearbook.com/tagdragger4life

Well , at the moment i have 15" aluminum wheels off of a 96 S-10 with 195/60 r 15's up front and 205/60-15's out back . I wanna run 20x8.5's eventually . Oh yea , and i have the FBI so called "total control" arms . When i got em the shock tab was on top and hittin the frame keepin me off the ground . Now they hit the frame and i am lacking an inch from totally laying out up front .
Of course i drag my tag . http://www.myspace.com/firerat6069 http://www.myyearbook.com/tagdragger4life

What?!?!? A part from FBI that doesn’t work right. I have never heard that before lol can you tell I'm being sarcastic
Most run them behind the wheels the top bracket just welds to the frame and the bottom of the shock mounts to lower a-arm. You should have plenty of room to mount them. You won’t be able turn as sharp as you used to, but if you are going to run 20's you wouldn’t be able to turn sharp anyway so it doesn’t really matter.

true . Yea FBI did me good when i ordered . LOL . I got arms i had to grind the shock tab off to make em work along with putting the upper ball joints in my way to make em work . LOL . Not to mention i had to wait 3 months for all my stuff to get here and when it all got here , the valves were substituted with ones i was not asked if it was ok to do . Then , for all my troubles with them all i got was their cheap digital gauge set that is about as accurate as the end of the world predictions . LOL . Needless to say they lost a customer for life with all that . O well , there are other companies out there . LOL .

yes, shocks would be good...both a good idea and a good idea to follow through on... like immediately...

I am in the same boat there . I hate the way they did me , and i really would like to work in a shop here , but like the saying goes . an artist is his own worst critic . I had a couple of guys from work checkin out my truck this morning , and they told me i belong in a shop doin the stuff i have to my truck for other people . They both want me to do work on their cars and to a truck when the one gets one . LOL . I guess i oughta look for a shop to take me in eh ? LOL .
