Ive got a 1990 Mazda B-2200 Slammed no air ride YET. Ive been seeing allot of photo's of 2200's with fuel injected motors....i was wondering if someone could explain a wee bit about how to do it or better yet a link to a site on how to, DIY, where to buy the stuff i need...all that jazz. Anything would help.

Or is there a BetteR way of getting a turbo on there without going fuel injected?

I would just do the Weber carb swap and a cold air intake and that would add plenty of horses to it. Why are you sold on installing a turbo?

I am not sure if the intake will fit your head, but the 1995 kia sportage uses the same block and will bolt right into your transmission without any engine mount mods required.
The engine in the kia sportage is an FE3 if I remeber correctly. The block is basicaly the same as the F2 and FE, but I think the heads are different.
There are quite a few guys over at MX6.com that are putting F2T in the mazda and using a do it your self ECU called megasquirt.
The easiest thing to do would be to buy a 1995 Kia Sportage engine and wiring harness and bolt it right in and then google the megasquirt and buy that to program the ECU.
With mods some guys are getting over 200 HP.
This is what I've read any ways.
Hope this helps.

The transition, as a minimum, will require a new fuel pump, fuel pump relay, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, and of course, fuel injectors!
You can use the intake manifold from a MX-6 or Probe with the same 2.2 in it but you'll have to modify it to work with your RWD orientated motor. You can NOT use the KIA intake as the KIA motor is DOHC and the 2.2 (F2, I believe) is SOHC.
After spending over $15,000 and 7yrs on my truck project (and still not completed) I recommend you spend the $1,000 for dual side-draft Weber carbs and a Pacesetter header and enjoy the ride!
Oh and yes, the KIA motor is refered to as the FE3.
2.0 SOHC = FE 2.2 SOHC = *** 2.0 DOHC = FE3
