was wonderin if it is safe to flip the ball joints to get that free like 2 inch drop, gettin ready to bag and bd it, jw. all help would be appreciated

i'm not exactly sure, i haven't takin a close look at it, but i have heard of ppl doin it to get a free drop.

if they are tapered i would not do it.that would be scary.

flipping balljoints on mazdas are perfectly safe. it will not get you a 2" drop though. it only applys to flipping the mounting surface on it, not the direction of the way the shaft goes so having a tapered shaft wouldnt matter at all. read this how-to on it and it will probably answer all your questions.

it looks to be a i beam ranger.  that would move the spindle up

since this thread is in the mazda section, i thought he probably had a mazda too. i dont see why it would be if he didnt have a mazda.
