There is no question to if minitrucks that are lifted or lowered, are they still minitrucks? Of coarse they are. The question is do they belong in minitruckin? Well I say NO! Now heres why. I understand that we get some of our ideas for suspension work from the lifted or race trucks. But alot of other vehicle customizers use it to. Should we feature hot rods and classic cars in minitruckin too, My truck has rat rod influence. Oh and I have air bags, We should put the big rigs (semi's) in the mag to because as I understand alot of our air ride technology came from them. Minitruckin is for slammed mini's. Thats why its the one and only magazine I subscribe to. Sure you can slip a lifted truck in here and there, then a couple slip in. before you know it your selling space in the mag for lifted suspension crap and a damn DONK will be on the cover. Then there goes my magazine. I dont want to see lifted anything in this magazine. As I understand your company "Source Interlink Companies" has several other magazines devoted to just that. How about "4wd and sport utility", "4 wheel off road", "four wheeler" just to name a few. Lifted trucks already have like 100 mags to our 1. If I wanted see or get info on lifted crap I would subscibe to one of them. Then your company would make more money, they should be pissed at you for this whole cross over idea. I would like to here the opinion of other Minitruckin readers too. IF IT DOESN'T DRAG, IT DOESN'T BELONG IN THE MAG!

I admit I was a little disappointed to see monster minis in the february issue. There all nice trucks, but I buy mini truckin specifically for the slammed minis. Most people that I know who are into lifted minis, especially toyotas, tell me I ruined a perfectly good truck by bagging and body dropping my 86 yota. They have no use for anything lowered and would never buy a mag that had slammed trucks. I have seen some pretty small boats, maybe they should start doing features on mini boats I still love the mag and will keep buying it.

eyyyy, Boatin', Mini Boatin', and Sport Boat... that was MY idea

Personally, I like lowered mini trucks, and think that's what Mini Truckin' should stick to.    We need all the love we can get, right? I say no branching out to other facets of mini truckin. Just my take. We are in no shortage of sick trucks layin' on the ground...

i am split dowm the middle i have a 2wheel drive 88 s10.  but i also have 4wheel drive 95 4runner.  i want to drag the s10 and also go muddin in the 4wheel drive.  i think it doest have to be the cover but a couple pages once a year.  it should be a well designed one off kinda suspension.

i feel the same honestly i wasn't really a huge fan of the monster mini's i mean don't get me wrong they are nice trucks but they'd be better suited for like 4x4 or offroad magazine
