Do you guys think the new Tacoma is too big? Is it not a  "mini" anymore? Do you still think it's cool?

heck yeah new tacoma is too big - it's NOT a mini, and as far as for mini truckin, it might as well be a fullsize. There is nothing mini about it anymore.

how bout bringin' back the early 90's toyota pickups - THAT'S a mini.

There's a company in China called Great Wall that does truck & SUV knockoffs that makes a virtual clone of the last-gen Tacoma. That's where "new" minis might start coming from.

Don't care where it comes from as long as it's a mini truck and not Big Bertha

The Tacoma is a large vehicle not to be confused with a mini in any way.  This is a problem seeing that fuel costs increase daily and are unlikely to drop any time soon.

duh! why is this so hard to understand? It's only logical that the days of large vehicles are numbered, yet they keep getting bigger and bigger. Maybe because Americans are getting bigger and bigger? Maybe we just can't think ahead enough to see the long-term $$$ of big vehicles, maybe.... we need to impress other through large vehicles?

BEING IN THE WHEEL MARKET, THE SMALL TRUCK STILL DOESNT HAVE MUCH OF A MARKET FOR WHEELS.. IT STAYS MOSTLY TO THE LARGER CARS AND TRUCKS..EVERYBODY IS WANTING MORE FOR LESS THESE DAYS...HOPEFULLY THE HORROR WILL END SOON...

hey man i see it like this... toyota mini's from back in the day were just plain clean... then they came out with the taco.. which was alright at first... then it started getting bigger and more bulbous... toyotas past minis gave toyota a face like keira knightly, classic beauty ya know... then the new tacoma put a nose like gandalfs on keira's face... lmao

so because theyre bigger than the old style toyota minis no ones into the new tacomas?  or is it more than just the bodysize?  ill be pickin up a 07 tacoma soon, and just find it weird that theres no one else, or not many at best, that are workin the new tacomas.  just curious.

and yeah i do still agree that the older style toyotas are much more the classic mini truck, but theres gotta be someone out there gettin into the new Tacomas...
