i have a 99ford ranger and i want to lay frame but have no idea what to get so any help would be great...
ive looked at the street scraper and the road gratter..also some 4-links on suicide doors but i just dont know what a reliable and long lasting choice would be since its basically a daily driver...so any help would be great...thanx
First of all the suicide doors 4 link is a great buy. Just don't forget about the crossmembers when you order it. The 98-up won't lay frame completely without z'ing the front approximately 2.25 inches. Depending upon your fab skills, you might be able to do this yourself.
I want to bag the back of my 1998 for ranger super cab but first I'm trying to lay frame in the front but i have to problems. my steering rod is hitting my frame when i slam it and so does my lower A frame where my sway-bar connects. I have 2" lowering DJM lower A frames. Can anyone suggest what i should do i was thinking just to cut into my frame to clear it.
ditch the sway bar and just cut the frame to clear..be sure to box the frame back in anywhere you cut
