Im about to get my truck on jacks to back half it. Can i level it by going off of the bottom of the frame under the cab?
Watch fo pot holes.

yes just make sure the ground is level

And it wont be.
But dosent matter. Level is Level, it is not a measurement relating to anything else but being level.Get it.
Dont sweat it.What you should sweat are the pre chop measements.Measure everthing before you cut anything.
ground to L side frame Right side, front back, axle location, pinion angle,squareness(if thats even a word ) . Everything.
