A free way to lower your rear about 2 inches is to flip the rear hanger for the leaf springs. There should be 4 rivets; just grind or drill them out and flip the hanger upside down. Then install 1/2 inch grade eight bolts with nylocks or lock nuts into the four holes. On the front i would wait and buy the dropped i-beams first, because of the alignment issues with the camber essentrics. But if you do decide to lower the front without the beams, i would buy the lowering coils which are good for 2 inches and cost about $80. If you can't afford those you can cut the coils (not heat them), Cut them in 1/2 turns for 1.25 inches per 1/2 turn. Do not take off more than one full turn of the coil, because you can't align it. When you get an alignment, buy your 2.0 to 3.0 degree camber essentrics from a performance store to save money. These are located on the top of the ibeam inside that big nut on top of the beam. Like in this picture.

The pinion shim adjusters come in 25 and 45 degree packs. You should need the 25 degree one from Mr. Gasket. They run about $20, and will fix the pinion angle after the flip. What is your state and city, i could probably sell you 2 inch lowering coils (DJM) for about $50. They have about 3,000 miles on them and look brand new. Rangers don't look low enough with just a static drop, so i bagged mine about 3 months after dropping it.

I'm out in "bfe" in middle tennessee, so shipping will be a little high. Once you grind them off, use a punch or big screw driver to punch them out. I'd wait til you can have the whole truck on jack stands in the rear, and remove the rear hanger from the rearleaf springs to reduce pressure on the rivets. It's also kind of difficult with the bed still on. I can remove the bed on my truck in less that 10 minutes, (6 bolts with 55 torx bit, three screws for gas tank and taillights) so get a buddy to help you lift it off to make it easier to grind those rivets off. After you flip it just bolt it back together with grade 8 bolts and your done.

The rivet holes should line up for the same side shackle. I'm guessing you still have the bed on, which is making it harder to reach them. Also with your head in there i bet you had a head ache with that much noise. Are you using a standard 6 inch grinder with a hard disk? Could you post some pics of the shackles? Also do you have a drill with a 1/2 inch drill bit and a small propane torch?
